Business Manager/Percussion Arranger

Courtney Kirkwood manages all the business transactions, contracts, licensing, and the MJM. Works music library. She also serves as a Percussion Orchestrator for MJM Works.

Kirkwood graduated from the University of Houston in 2013 with a Bachelors in Music Business and Minor in Marketing. She has performed in multiple organizations such as the Moores School of Music Percussion Ensembles, Symphony Orchestra, Opera Orchestra, Ballet Orchestra and Wind Ensemble. While attending college, she also taught percussion in multiple schools around the greater Houston area.

Courtney also serves as the bass drum technician and assistant percussion director for the 2020 Texas UIL state-champion Claudia Taylor Johnson High School Drum Line.
