Jordan Stern
Winds Arranger / Percussion Arranger
 
Jordan Stern is a composer, arranger and educator based in the San Antonio area. He is currently serving as the marching band coordinator and lecturer of music at Texas State University. Before teaching at the collegiate level, he was the associate director of bands at Claudia Taylor Johnson High School, where he taught the 3rd and 4th bands and coordinated the percussion area for grades 6-12 in the Johnson cluster.
Jordan has arranged for many of the top marching programs in Texas. His percussion arranging clients have included Claudia Taylor Johnson, Cedar Park, Winston Churchill and Ronald Reagan High Schools. He also arranged the wind andpercussion parts for William Brennan High School in 2013 as they made their first appearance in the UIL 4A State Marching Contest. Jordan also composed for the indoor drumline at Brennan High School, who earned the bronze medal in TCGC A Class competition in 2012.
Jordan is a graduate of Texas State University, with degrees in Percussion Performance and Music Education. His DCI experience includes performing as a member of the Concord Blue Devils and serving on the teaching staff of the Crossmen.
