Featuring Alan Silvestri's Back to the Future soundtrack, Johnnie B. Good, Bruno Mars' Just the Way You Are, and Huey Lewis' The Power of Love

This fun tune was commissioned to commemorate the date that Marty McFly in the movie travels to in the future: October 21, 2015. The show starts out with the theme, but then they quickly travel back to the 50's. The ballad takes place in the present. The closer start out with a three drum set trio, as they travel back to the 80's to Power of Love. The ending is a reprise of the Silvestri to bring the time traveler back home.?

Featuring Music from Weather Report's Birdland, Nelly Furtado's I'm Like a Bird, Mussursky's Ballet of the Unhatched Chicks, Charlie Parker's Yard Bird Suite, Jamie Foxx's Fly Love (from the Rio Soundtrack), and Eric Whitacre's Fly to Paradise.

This great work is set in six scenes, with each musical moment representing a different bird. Originally commissioned by Fredericksburg High School in 2016, the work was in finals at the Texas UIL State Marching Band Championships. Featuring everything from classical, to jazz, to new music, this work has it all!

Part 2 is primarily a driving rendition of Mars, part 3 is a ballad based off of Giacchino's There's No Place Like Home, and part 4 focuses on Jupiter from The Planets. ?

The common thread, which is Copland's Promise of Living, is intertwined throughout the work, and the visual draw are elements of sewing. There is a "common thread" with numbers, angles, and patterns being in the show titles.

Featuring Mackey's Wine Dark Sea, Daughtery's Niagara Falls, Hillsong United's Oceans, Beethoven's Symphony No. 7

This production revolves around water and the beauty, but danger, that exist within it. The show opens with Wine Dark Sea, then goes into Niagara Falls. During Part 3, triangles are played around the field, as part of the visual construct is based on the Bermuda Triangle. During Part 4, the ship begins to creak under the stress of the water as the drumline plays a feature that builds into a reprise of Wine Dark Sea.

This production focuses on the three parts of Earth, and how within the Earth, art exists (hence the title). Part 1 is Land and is represented by Africa, Part 2 is Water which depicts Diamond Tide, and Part 3 is Air, shown through Mahr's Fantasia. Visual concepts revolve around these parts of our planet. Earth is art, and Art is the Earth.

This show concept is about the destruction of our planet, but how we can still turn the result around. Music is written around a guitar soloist that is weaved throughout the work, but can be rescored for any strong performer. The "bad to good" nature of the music progression can be used for a multitude of visual ideas.

The show opens up with pre-recorded audio depicting the birth of the space program. The band is count in to the arrival and the show begins to a driving rendition of Giacchino's work with The Planets mixed in. Right when you think the ballad is going to a stock rendition of Venus, things turn! The drum feature "Intergalactic" gives way to a well-scored closer that brings back all compositional elements of the work.

There is then an interlude with the "bird" part from Peter and the Wolf that interacts with the percussion section, before going into Birdland. Then we return back to the Tchaikovsky to close it out!
